Dickson-Constant Fabrics
CONTRACTUAL FIVE YEAR GUARANTEE

Dickson-Constant guarantees that its Orchestra 50TT fabrics are rotproof and colourfast (minimum resistance of 7/8 of the colours) under the actions of ultraviolet rays, and bad weather conditions, according to the NF EN ISO 105 B02 and NF EN ISO 105 B04 standards for five years from the date of purchase of the awning.
This guarantee is valid in the conditions defined below:

For this guarantee, Dickson-Constant shall replace free of charge, or at its convenience reimburse the invoice value, with a deduction made for obsolescence the part of the length acknowledged as faulty, excluding all other costs or any other compensation for any reason whatsoever.

- As regards the depreciation for obsolescence, a rebate of 20% per year will be applied to the reimbursement from the 13th month following the purchase
- Any claim must be sent within ten days of observation of the defect, along with the invoice of purchase, by registered letter, with acknowledgement to the dealer.
The fabric will be made available to the experts of Dickson-Constant or its insurance company.
- Replacement or reimbursement of the faulty fabric shall not extend the duration of this guarantee.
The guarantee does not cover the following:
- The parts of the awning other than the fabric manufactured by Dickson-Constant: valance, frame, or other
- Imperfections such as mottling, waffling, folds: any technical fabric can present these marks or deformations due to handling when the awning was made or installed and to the stress caused in the fabric when in situation.
- Defects from the ageing and normal wear of the cloth.
- The consequences of the conditions of installation, environment or use not corresponding to the usual conditions, the use of the profession, the standards prescribed by Dickson-Constant, or the destined use of the cloth.
- The repair of damage or defects in the fabric resulting from accidents or negligence not to be charged to Dickson-Constant or resulting from an unexpected event.
Expressly excluded is above all any damage due to the following:
- A defect in maintenance or the use of unsuitable products or instruments: no detergent or chemical or solvent can be used, nor any scraper or other instrument that may deteriorate the surface.
- Lightning or any unusual weather conditions
- Atmospheric or phytosanitary pollution (algae, moss etc.)
- Animal soiling
- Defects in mounting, faults in the manoeuvre of the user, project or different products, hanging objects on the cloth, falling objects, shocks, road accidents, vandalism, burning cigarettes or other objects, fire.
The benefit of this contractual guarantee does not bring about any obstacle to the legal guarantee
