DICKSON ORCHESTRA FABRIC COLLECTION
CUSTOMER INFORMATION
In choosing a Dickson-Constant fabric for your awning, you have opted for top quality. Automation, permanent checks, laboratory tests, elaborate finishing treatment - nothing is left to chance.
This way we can guarantee the resistance, strength and durability of the colours of your awning fabrics.
Our fabrics, woven from solution-dyed Sunacryl acrylic fibre for top quality, benefit from all the attention we pay to their preparation and manufacture. However, ir could happen that you note some minor imperfections after fitting your blind or awning. A slight embossing, some veining, small folds along the stitching, in the centre of the fabric, or possibly some overlapping could appear.
These hardly perceptible irregularities are inherent in the nature of acrylic fibre, and have no effect on the performance of your canvas. So, your fitter can in no way be held responsible for these slight imperfections.

WAFFLEBUILDING OR VEINING
Subsequent to handling during sewing, fabrication and assembly, acrylic fabrics treated with resins containining fluoride may present veining visible against the sunlight and due to an optical effect (differences in the refraction of light) |
FOLDS
When rolling the canvas, folds may be produced in the centre or along the stitching |
VEINING OR WHITE TRACES
Subsequent to handling, small white traces may appear on acrylic fabrics treated with resins containing fluoride. They are particularly visible on light-coloured canvases inspected against the light. |
CLEANGARD
A new generation treatment for awning fabric, Cleangard uses an ultra modern procedure to protect outdoor fabric: the NPP (The Nanotechnology Protection Process)
This state-of-the-art technology, based on an assembly of extrememly dense nano-molecules, creates a real barrier against water and repels the dirt long-term.
The Cleangard treatment brings to Dickson awning fabric a maximum water repellancy (5/5 spray test) and an exceptional water resistancy (350mm on the water column test)
OEKO-TEX
This approval certifies that the acrylic canvases with waterproofing treatment are non-toxic. The tests prove the absence of smell, carcinogenic colourings, volatile components, or even pesticides in the fabrics.
SOLUTION-DYED SUNACRYL
A fibre specially selected for Dickson-Constant, which gives the canvases colour-retaining qualities, allowing them to breathe and resist water. Canvases woven with Sunacryl, subjected to more than 800 hours of an alternating programme of sunlight and sprinkling, reproducing extreme meteorological conditions, still retain their bright colours
ISO CERTIFICATION
Dickson-Constant is ISO 9001 certified since June 2003.
This International certification from the BVQI (Bureau Veritas Quality International) shows Dickson- Constant's desire to advance in the evolution of progress and to respond even better to its customer requirements. It symbolizes recognition and efficiency of its quality service
50TT ALL WEATHER FABRIC
The 50TT fabrics are subject to a special acrylic coating, resistant to water and UV. They are perfectly adapted to applications where extra water resistancy is required (cafe terraces, commercial properties). The coated side should be used as the underside of the awning
